Things I have done today:
- Started the second book of The Hunger Games series. I don't know, guys. I'm still can't commit to this thing. I mean, it's engaging but I feel like I'm missing a giant chunk of the appeal. I do have fun tearing around the house and jumping out at my housemate (who lent me the books), Career Tribute style though. (Because we all know that's what I'd be, if this were an actual Thing.) None of this hunter-gatherer rubbish.
- BUT SERIOUSLY. WHAT AM I MISSING HERE?!!
- Whinged about how there wasn't a single salty item in the house. (Apart from a jar of Vegemite but shit's not that desperate yet.) Since I'm currently living off the residual cash from my last job (it's been four weeks, I don't get paid for another two yet FUCK MY LIFE) I have nothing spare that I can just walk down to the shops and buy a packet of chips.
- Not done my laundry.
- Listened to a fuckload of Radiohead.
- Thought harder about quitting smoking.
- Smoked.
- Discovered someone smashed my car window outside the front of my house, raged loudly enough for the entire street to hear, stormed back inside brandishing my iPhone and swearing I'd call the police before calling the insurance people instead. It's all covered so yay, but it's just a giant pain. People need to stop picking on my car just because it's pink. (Seriously, I can't wait until I trade it in, the amount of dents/breakages I've had with this one is off the charts.)
- Giggled like a schoolgirl over naked!photos of Fassboner floating around on Tumblr. Hands up who's excited to see Shame?!!

I would totally do that TV meme thing but you all know what I watch. Also a large portion of them would be terrible Australian TV try-hard dramas and soaps (lol forever Packed to the Rafters) and no one needs to hear about those.
I did, however, plough my way through Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on the weekend, and then saw the movie, both which completely blew my mind. And this is coming from someone who thought she hated crime novels. Fact: I opened the book having no idea what it was about/genre it sat in, if I had known I wouldn't have even picked it up!
